They did do Nowitzki wrong (and possibly Jaron Collins), but ummm, NBA 2K12 is still a video game right? Let’s all take a deep breath, and settle down. It’s a video game, and if you’re basing your player rankings off of what a video game or bloggers/writers are saying than you should really try and form your own opinion and stop the sycophantic worship of online analysis. We’re human. Just like video game developers. I think Dirk should be a 100 (he’s an 85—well under a host of other players), but I don’t give a crap what some innocuous video game ranking thinks about that. I watch the games, and he’s the best player on the World Champions. That NBA Finals MVP feels a lot better to Dirk than a 98 rating on a video game.

I’m also nonplussed with the tandems Hoops World post, but there are a lot more important things for me to worry about.
