Fuck Yea[h] NBA

Chris Sampson wrote a stirring piece over at Negative Dunkaletics about the NBA lockout. Read the whole thing if you have the time.

One of the two reasons why I’ve been so silent, at least in this lengthy format, is that I strongly believe that there is no separation between the labor and collective rights of workers on any level, regardless of income or background or any other criteria. Arguing over that is foolish. The other reason is that talking about this makes me mad. If there is a complaint or exploitation, workers deserve a fair shake. They demand a voice that need be answered by a respectful representative. That stringent belief is mine outside of the world of basketball and it obviously applies here too.
