![Remember David Stern had the flu last Thursday when the CBA talks fell apart? Yeah, he made some jocular comments about his absence, and took an implicit swipe at everyone else in the negotiations (like there’s no way a deal can get done without his genius in the room).
“It wasn’t me,” Stern said. “I leave these guys alone for a little bit of time and all hell breaks loose.”
