Antoine Walker has helped the IRS in its federal case against agent Derek Perry. Via MySanAntonio

“During this investigation, IRS agents have learned from Antoine Walker, a former NBA basketball player, that Smith did not report approximately $600,000 in gambling winnings to the IRS from 2005 through 2009,” states a sworn declaration from IRS agent Derek W. Perry.

This might be an odd thing to blog about with so much sitting in my drafts folder, but shimmy shake Antoine made over $180 million in his playing career, and I think he’d be more than willing to offer any sort of guidance to the I.R.S. he can. That being said, the popular “stitches for snitches” phrase comes to mind, and I’d hope people would realize he’s in a tough place. Good luck Antoine. I wish you hadn’t been such an idiot with your money, but as someone that routinely acts idiotically with their money, I wish you the best. <3 you I.R.S.—I promise those W-9 forms are real.
