“Sterling, accord­ing to the Los An­ge­les Times, said he was un­aware of Baylor’s Hall of Fame ca­reer when he hired him.”-USA Today Donald Sterling is the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers. As an owner, he’s been involved in a variety of stories attesting to his unmitigated bigotry, misogyny and general loathsomeness as a human being. He’s been ordered to pay $5 million in lawyer’s fees from a housing discrimination lawsuit.  He’s been sued for sexual harassment.  Despite pledging to spend $50 million on a homeless shelter in the eastern edge of downtown LA, he’s merely bought the property and done, well, nothing for the homeless. When Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Kim Hughes was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer seven years ago, and needed out of network surgery, Sterling refused to pay. So, the Clippers at the time—Marko Jaric, Chris Kaman, Corey Maggette and Elton Brand—helped cover the $70,000 bill.  He routinely heckles his own players. When Caron Butler visits the Clippers training facility in Playa Vista today, I hope he realizes who owns the team, and voices his disgust with what Donald Sterling represents. The same goes for Nene, Chandler, Affalo and any other free agent that stops by the Clippers training facility. I love Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon, and the Clips have a nice young nucleus, but the owner needs to go, and I can’t root for them while he’s still around. Occupy Donald Sterling’s bigoted brain starts now. Fuck that guy, and anything he touches. I hope he winds up penniless and alone, and won’t even get served food in his fake homeless shelter. Seriously, FUCK DONALD STERLING. David Stern let Clay Bennett steal the Sonics from Seattle and move them to Oklahoma City. That’s awful, but allowing this little man to own an NBA franchise is the legacy I’ll always remember. If I ever have kids, I’ll point to a photo of Sterling when I need to teach them about pure evil. Stern should have booted him from the league a lifetime ago.
