Fuck Yea[h] NBA

“* LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh all have proven careers as high-usage superstars, but it was assumed that when the three finally took to the court as teammates, their usage rates (or the percentage of a team’s possessions used by each player while on the court) would drop accordingly. That hasn’t exactly been the case. Bosh has faded into a complementary role, but James and Wade are using a greater percent of the Heat’s possessions than they did for their teams last season. Miami’s incredibly talented roster was assembled so that players like James and Wade could share the scoring and playmaking burden, but so far, they’re shouldering more of the offense than ever in an attempt to jump-start their season.”

Sometimes Off The Dribble just annoys me.  This is one of those times (even though I like Mahoney).

There’s a reason I’ve withheld a lot of judgment on the first week of the NBA season.  I’m waiting before pouncing on the trends I see.  Two games ain’t enough.  They just needed content.
