I had written about all the Saturday games, but Tumblr froze—again—so I’ll try and condense the weekend games for you—again—and give you the newspaper write-ups.

Scores from last night the weekend:

• The Atlanta Hawks blew out the Cleveland Caravliers at home 121-94. [Atlanta Journal Constitution; Cleveland Plain Dealer]
• The Detroit Pistons got their second win in 12 games wqith a 94-91 victory over the Portland Trailblazers. [Detroit Free Press; Oregonian]
• The Miami Heat beat the visitin Philadelphia 76ers 113-92 behind 30 points from Chris Bosh and 28 points from ‘Bron. [Sun-Sentinel; Philadelphia Daily News]
• The New York Knicks lost in double OT against their trade partners in the Carmelo Anthony deal, 119-114. It’s the 6th straight loss for the Knicks. Mike D’Antoni has a hovering specter of Phil Jackson above his bed each night. [New York Post]
• The Dallas Mavericks went into New Orleans and defeated the Hornets without Dirk Nowitzki 83-81. [Star-Telegram; Times-Picayune]
• The Chicago Bulls are still undefeated at hom with a 95-89 victory over the visiting Charlotte Bobcats. [Chicago Tribune; Charlotte Observer]
• The Houston Rockets beat the San Antonio Spurs in Houston 105-102. San Antonio was playing without Tim Duncan. [Houston Chronicle; Express-News]
• The Oklahoma City Thunder, after signing Russell Westbrook to an $80M extension, defeated the New Jersey Nets in New Jersey, 84-74. Westbrook paced the team with 21 points and 6 assists. [Oklahoman; Star-Ledger]
• The Memphis Grizzlies blew out the Sacramento Kings to win their 6th straight game without Zach Randolph, 128-95. [Commercial Appeal; Sacramento Bee]
• The Utah Jazz keep winning with a 108-98 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Utah. Kevin Love finally got shut down this season. [Salt Lake Tribune; Star Tribune]

Sunday Games:

• The Boston Celtics finally ended their losing ways with a 100-94 victory over the disappointing Washington Wizards despite John Wall falling 3 assists short of a triple-double. Paul Pierce dropped 34 for the banged up Celtics. [Boson Globe; Washington Post]
• The Los Angeles Clippers handed the Toronto Raptors their 8th straight defeat 103-91 at the Staples Center. Mo Williams had 26 points and Chauncey Billups, doing a solid Chris Paul impersonation, dished out 14 assists for a Clippers teams still without its leader. [Los Angeles Times; Toronto Star]
• The New Jersey Nets picked up a victory over the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, 97-87 at the end of their 3-game homestand. To compound their loss, the Bobcats lost DJ Augustin to a toe injury. [Star-Ledger; Charlotte Observer]
• The Lakers fell to the Indiana Pacers 98-96 at home. It’s been a tough stretch for this Lakers team that just got back from their first East Coast swing of the season (losing to Orlando and Miami). Roy Hibbert broke his nose for the Pacers in the vitory, which is fine because they’re a tough-nosed squad (sorry). [Los Angeles Times; Indianapolis Star]
• The Milwaukee Bucks surprised the Miami Heat (still without Wade) 91-82 in American Airlines Arena. The Bucks played great defense on the road, and limited Heat to 37% shooting and 22 turnovers. They needed to clamp down on defense because they didn’t shoot any better (35%), but they made some clutch plays down the stretch and Miami didn’t (let the LeBron overreactions commence). Bosh and James combined for 51 points, but the rest of the team couldn’t muster enough to win. Brandon Jennings led Milwaukee with 23 points even though he was only 5-20 from the field.
