After getting blown out by the Philadelphia 76ers, 103-83, the Washington Wizards decided to fire head coach Flip Saunders. After starting the season 2-15, and going 51-130 into his third season in the nation’s capital, can you really blame the Washington front office for making the switch? I’m sure Michael Lee will have all the details of player’s toning Saunders out. I’d make reference to Flip’s facial ticks, that sometimes lead to spasms of incredulity when watching Wizards games (seriously, I get seizures watching that man’s countenance), but it’s not kosher to kick a man when he’s down.
