I ONCE CUT MY ARM,
AND THE NBA DRIBBLED OUT
Often, I'll attempt to climb high in the sky on the wings of poesy prose, but sometimes they melt

Fuck Yea[h] NBA
Final Score: Knicks 111, Bobcats 78
Record: 7-10 (3rd in Atlantic, tied for 8th in Eastern Conference)
Current Streak: Won 1This is exactly what the Knicks needed… a win.
Better yet, they got a blowout win and were able to rest their starters the last six minutes for tomorrow’s night game.
Quick hits:
- This is what everyone is going to be talking about so might as well start off with it also - Carmelo Anthony scored a career low one point tonight. Yep, just one point on 0-7 shooting. The thing is, Melo was doing EVERYTHING tonight, except for scoring. He was making that extra pass, rebounding (11 for the game) and playing tough defense.
- The other big story from tonight? Tyson Chandler going full on beast mode and Amar’e getting his groove back.
- First Tyson, my oh my. The guy completely owned the Bobcats front line. He showed us every reason why the Knicks signed him in the off-season. Just an amazing game from him (20 points, 17 rebounds).
- People think that Amar’e lost his explosiveness? Didn’t seem that way tonight. What I think the issue is? It’s tough for offensive-minded guys to get motivated to play the game when they don’t get passed the freakin ball. Tonight he was constantly fed the ball in rhythm.
- Welcome back Landry Fields, we missed you.
- When we signed Tyson, I imagined nights like this where we just controlled the glass. Between Tyson, Amar’e and Melo, they had 36 of the 53 total rebounds. The entire Bobcats team only had 33.
- That’s the Boris Diaw we all know! The fat, slow one that shouldn’t belong on an NBA court.
- We actually played team ball tonight, great movement on offense.
- Iman Shumpert blew three layups including a dunk.
- 13 Knicks played tonight… all of them outscored Melo.
Again, we really need this win. Hopefully we can carry this momentum into tomorrow night against the Cavs.
KNOTEWORTHY KNICK OF THE GAME: Easy… Tyson Chandler - 20 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. (Although Jeremy Lin did go 2-2 with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block in only 6 minutes of action!)
“tied for 8th in Eastern Conference” - playoffs! YES WE CAN!
Hangs head shuffles slowly to the rear of the bar.
